Typhoon ps330 dry suit

The suits are the top of the range extreme weather suits tested in the harshest of conditions, they are ideal for the kayak fishing and theirs, and the PS220’s, popularity is evident at every UK kayak meet and testament to their quality. For me, my dry suit has to have two main things.
1) Fabric socks
2) Convenience zip
After trying various suits I eventually decided on the Multi-sport 4, as it ticked both boxes. It was by far the best fit and excellent quality for the money as well as a great looking suit! The material just felt superior compared to others that I tried on.
I insist on fabric feet as I find they're more comfortable and Latex draws the heat out of my feet in the winter months. I always take an old mat with me when changing to keep the feet in good condition.
The suit is Cordura reinforced at the seat, knees and elbows. The extra seat protection is vital for me as a sea fisherman as that area has to deal with a lot of salt and sand abrasion.
The zips are metal as opposed to some that are plastic. These are easily kept in good condition by the block of bees wax that was supplied with the suit.
I was initially sceptical about the rear access, but after a couple of outings, I can now put the suit on and off without assistance.
I've used it for the last 7 months during winter, spring and the start of summer. No leaks and is very comfortable. The neck and wrist seals are latex and can be easily trimmed to fit your size.
The material and zips are still in great condition with no defects. I do always make sure the suit is rinsed and latex seals powdered with unscented talc. A bit of basic maintenance goes a long way to keeping your investment serviceable for longer.
Also consider Typhoon Max B if you prefer neoprene neck and wrist seals. It doesn't come with a convenience zip but, I have since found out Typhoon will fit one for a small charge.
